Hi, I'm Sherri...

A Statistically Rejected, Chosen Vessel Of God's Grace.

I grew up a  in the Bronx, as an Afro-Latina who parents were addicts, and I suffered a lot of abuse as a child.  My mother struggled as a single parent and although she did the absolute best she could, what raised me daily was neglect and rejection.

I was told many times, statistically, I shouldn't dream too big because little girls like me, coming from families like mine, didn't typically amount to much.

BUT GOD had other plans for me...

When we moved to Toronto I thought we had left poverty and all the abuse behind, but I quickly learned poverty and trauma was a mental location not the physical one I had been accustomed to.

Through life lessons, favor I couldn't earn and life-changing opportunities,  God has proven over and over that where I grew up, my family, the abuse I experienced, all of it was a part of a much bigger plan and was key to who I was to become. I just needed the AuDACIDI to believe it and when I did, here's what happened...

I was given the opportunity to:

  • Build a company transforming the lives of underserved youth who suffer from low self-worth and abuse.

  • Develop programs for Black, Brown & Indigenous youth that build leadership and employability skills.

  • Write  a book for authentic living & leadership.

  • Mentor over 500 young women to achieve their personal and professional goals.

  • Build and manage speaker brands that elevated speaker rates by 150%.

  • Mentor community youth leaders and pilot programs that are still making real impact today within community.

  • Be a part of leadership at a charity for over a decade from a strategic and business development lens, managing a million dollar budget.

What I am most grateful for, is knowing that my life has been used to help people (like me), know there is no low-income neighbourhood, abusive upbringing, or financial lack, that could disqualify you from discovering your most authentic calling.

Knowing that God could use a little Puerto Rican kid from the Bronx, as a direct product of God's Grace, keeps me humble, grounded and so honoured to be used to serve you.

Thank you for being here, I look forward to getting to know you better.
